Advanced Industrial Engineering Ltd (AIE) is a customer-focused mechanical and automation systems designer, manufacturer and facility integrator, serving all industries from its technical centre in Measham, Leicestershire, which is strategically located close to major travel networks to support customers across the UK and Europe. Built on the core values of Precision, Quality and Integrity, AIE delivers a complete, professional turnkey engineering service, from initial concept through to project completion. Advanced Industrial Engineering Ltd was founded in 2015 by Managing Director Philip Silver.
Having spent an important part of his career at a major UK automotive OEM, Phil experienced first-hand the gap between what customers needed and what suppliers delivered, in both the quality of equipment and the standard of documentation. AIE was created to close that gap, ensuring every customer receives the quality of product and service they deserve. In 2018, William Garlick joined as Operations Director, bringing with him a strong background in engineering design developed at the same automotive OEM. Will's expertise has strengthened AIE's ability to deliver the bespoke, high-specification solutions the company has built its reputation on.The senior leadership team of Phil and Will is supported by experienced project and production managers, giving AIE the depth to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously without compromising on quality or customer service.
Looking to the future, AIE is committed to developing the next generation of engineers. The company currently has several apprentices working within the business, learning how successful projects are planned, built and delivered to the AIE standard.The Measham Technical Centre brings together AIE's full capability under one roof, where design, procurement and accounts offices sit alongside a complete manufacturing, assembly and test facility, giving AIE end-to-end control of every project.

Advanced Industrial Engineering delivered an exceptional bespoke test bed for one of our clients, meeting an extremely demanding specification that pushed beyond the limits of standard equipment. This was a highly complex, first of its kind project, and their expertise, attention to detail, and engineering capability were evident throughout.
